Bamboozled conditioner bar

The Bamboozled conditioner bar is the perfect shine-booster and detangler for your hair! Designed to complement the Bamboozled shampoo bar, it’s a great way to cut plastic waste out of your hair care routine. Scented in a traditionally unisex fragrance of bamboo and teak wood.

For this bar, we use primarily solid ingredients to make your conditioner into a little puck. This means we’ve removed the water so that we can also remove the plastic bottle. (Consider this bar a BYOW product: bring your own water!) This bar can be used daily and typically replaces about 3 standard bottles of liquid conditioner. Using it once per day, a bar typically lasts around 3 months.

If you’re new to conditioner bars, no problem! Here’s how you use them:

1. Wet your hands or the conditioner bar (or both).
2. Rub the bar like you’d lather up a bar of soap and a thick, lotion-like conditioner will form on the surface.
3. Comb the conditioner through your hair with your fingers. Try to focus the least on your scalp and the most on the ends of your hair.
4. If you need more conditioner, repeat steps 1-3.
5. Rinse the conditioner out thoroughly.

To make sure your bar lasts as long as possible, we recommend letting it dry out between uses. The best way to do this is to make sure there’s air circulation around it (for example, a well-drained soap dish or a wire shower caddy). We don’t recommend keeping it in a closed container, as it may still have moisture in it and this will cause the bar to liquefy.

Bamboozled is part of our handmade solid conditioner bar line, which avoids the need for plastic bottles (like with liquid conditioner). These bars are gentle on people and planet. Great for those striving for a zero-waste lifestyle.

These conditioner bars weigh approximately 35g each. Depending on how much conditioning you need (ie. how long your hair is), this bar will typically last between 50 and 100 washes. In other words, about the same time as our shampoo bars. They make a great, coordinated set, just saying!

Ingredients: behentrimonium methosulfate, cetyl alcohol, butylene glycol, olea europaea (olive) oil, orbignya oleifera (babassu) seed oil, argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, hydrolyzed rice, fragrance, DL-panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), azadirachta indica (neem) seed oil, fragrance, preservative (leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate, lactobacillus, cocos nucifera [coconut] fruit extract).
