Where to find Tubby Tabby Soaps
People ask us all the time where we’re located, and the honest answer is that we’re still running this little business out of our home studio! But we do sometimes participate in markets and we stock our products in various brick-and-mortar stores. So if you’d like to shop our products in-person, you’re in the right place! Here are the good folks who are hosting our products in the foreseeable future.
If you’re located in Ottawa and you’d like an in-person shopping experience on your own schedule, we recommend checking out the Milk Shop in the Byward Market or Rideau Rollers in Centretown.
Milk Shop in the Byward Market
As of August of 2023, we’re proud to announce that you can get our full Pride Flag and seasonal lines of soaps at the Milk Shop in the Byward Market! Located at 45 William Street in downtown Ottawa, you can’t get any more central than that! Check out this wonderfully queer-friendly and supportive space that has all sorts of goodies from small handmade business owners like us, and shop small and local all at once!
Rideau Rollers in Centretown
As of December 2023, you can find a wide range of our soaps at the Rideau Rollers shop at 787 1/2 Somerset West in Ottawa! This lovely, queer-owned business is a great hub for those looking for rollerskating gear and they now have a section where they feature small, locally-owned businesses like Tubby Tabby Soaps! Because let’s face it; we never met a derby pal who didn’t need a good wash after a match!

2SLGBTQIA+ Valentine’s Day Market (2 February 2025)
We absolutely love doing markets with Little Jo Berry’s, and so we know this one is going to be rad! Come to the Glebe Community Centre (175 Third Ave) in Ottawa on Sunday, February 2nd to check out tons of great queer- & trans-owned small businesses! Open from 12pm-4pm, it’ll be short but sweet and since so many of our super talented maker pals will be there, we know you’re going to find just the right thing for your sweetheart! See you there!
Queer Mega Market (9 May 2025)
We cannot wait to connect with our fellow queers at this event, where we’ll also have our cute Pride soaps! It’ll be at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre (355 Cooper St, corner of O’Connor) in Ottawa on Friday, May 9th. It will feature queer- and trans-owned businesses galore, and we’re so happy to be among them! Open from 5pm-9pm, you’ll want to make sure you come early for this short-and-sweet market so you don’t miss any of the super talented queer makers! Can’t wait to see you there!!
Vegans Who Snack (30 May 2025)
It’s baaaaaaaaaaaaack! Visit us at the Parkdale Market (383 Wellington St W) in Ottawa on Friday, May 30th to see all kinds of great vegan-friendly wares (including our soaps)! Open from 5pm-9pm, you’ll want to get there early because the food vendors in particular always sell out before the festival wraps up! This market is organized by the amazing Little Jo Berry’s, so you know it’s going to be epic! See you there!
West Side Pride (19 July 2025)
This will be our second year at this great Pride celebration in the west end of Ottawa! Come join us from 11am-4pm on July 19th at Alexander Grove Park (10 Warner-Colpitts Ln) in Stittsville, and enjoy the food and handmade vendors as well as a day of entertainment! Last year we had a simply wonderful time with this lovely group of queer folks, and we would love to share that with you (again?) this time around! We’ll have all of our Pride flag soaps with us and all of the usual suspects as well, of course. See you there!
Pride Night Market (16 August 2025)
We always really look forward to this market every year! It takes place at one of the most central and legendary markets in town, the Parkdale Market, so you know it’s going to be good! Come join us from 5-9pm on August 16th at the Parkdale Market (383 Wellington St W) in Hintonburg! There will be great music and lots of lovely queers, not to mention their perfect doggos! And you’d better believe we’ll only have all our best stuff for our community, so that includes our Pride flag soaps and free soap samples while supplies last! Can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Capital Pride Street Festival (23-24 August 2025)
Capital Pride is always a huge party! We love hanging out with the community at this large-scale event, and we’re so excited to be there again this year! The street festival runs from 10am-8pm on August 23rd AND 24th along the main street of the Village: Bank Street! (There will be great events throughout the week as well, so make sure to check out the other programming!) We always make sure we’re all stocked up on our ever-popular queer-themed goodies, so come and see what you can find to show your Pride! See you there!
Aimé Queer Music & Art Festival Retreat (13 September 2025)
The Aimé Queer Music & Art Festival Retreat is going to be like nothing you’ve ever seen before! With tons of artists and musicians performing, all of them queer, it’s a wonderful space for the community to come together and celebrate our authentic selves. Taking place in Hammond, ON, the festival runs from September 12-14, although we’ll have our table set up at the maker’s market on the Saturday, September 13th. In order to get your tickets for the festival (earlybird tickets are only $40 until July 1st!), camping and more, you can contact Elaina (@dykeseries). See you there!
Vegans Who Snack (25 October 2025)
It's back for a third round in 2025! For the first time, Vegans Who Snack is popping up in October, just in time for our cute autumn soaps! Holiday Magic Craft Show (15 November 2025)
We're pleased to say that we'll be at the Holiday Magic Craft Show run by National Capital Artisans on Saturday, 15 November from 10am-4pm! It'll take place at Lester B. Pearson High School at 2072 Jasmine Crescent in Gloucester. We'll have all of our cutest holiday soaps, as well as the core products you know and love! Stop by and see us for a free sample of our soap if you haven't tried it before, as we'll be giving away offcuts (while supplies last). See you there!
Kars Christmas Market (23 November 2025)
This year, we'll be travelling a little further afield than usual, and we'll be in Kars for the holidays! Come and see us on November 23 and December 14 from 10am-3pm each day! The market will be at 1604 Old Wellington Street in Kars, where there's also free parking onsite. We'll have our best soaps on hand, of course, but the market organizers are also collecting donations to the food bank, so we encourage visitors to also bring some shelf-stable food for them (as we plan to do)! We hope to see you there for some giving, community-building and holiday cheer!
