Where to find Tubby Tabby Soaps
People ask us all the time where we’re located, and the honest answer is that we’re still running this little business out of our home studio! But we do sometimes participate in markets and we stock our products in various brick-and-mortar stores. So if you’d like to shop our products in-person, you’re in the right place! Here are the good folks who are hosting our products in the foreseeable future.
If you’re located in Ottawa and you’d like an in-person shopping experience on your own schedule, we recommend checking out the Milk Shop in the Byward Market or Rideau Rollers in Centretown. If you're closer to the Glebe, try Lainey's Luck on Bank Street!
In the Ottawa Valley but further afield, you can find us in Perth at The Dusty Rose Boutique.
Milk Shop in the Byward Market
As of August of 2023, we’re proud to announce that you can get our soaps at the Milk Shop in the Byward Market! Located at 45 William Street in downtown Ottawa, you can’t get any more central than that! Check out this wonderfully queer-friendly and supportive space that has all sorts of goodies from small handmade business owners like us, and shop small and local all at once!
Rideau Rollers in Centretown
As of December 2023, you can find a wide range of our soaps at the Rideau Rollers shop at 787 1/2 Somerset West in Ottawa! This lovely, queer-owned business is a great hub for those looking for rollerskating gear and they now have a section where they feature small, locally-owned businesses like Tubby Tabby Soaps! Because let’s face it; we never met a derby pal who didn’t need a good wash after a match!
Lainey's Luck on Bank Street
As of November 2025, we're excited to say that you can grab our products at Lainey's Luck at 523 Bank Street in Ottawa! Along with cute vintage fashion, they also carry a few other things from small, local businesses like ourselves! Definitely plan to spend a little time browsing! ;)
The Dusty Rose Boutique in Perth
As of September 1st, 2026, you'll be able to find our soaps at The Dusty Rose Boutique! This super cute shop on the main street of Perth (42 Gore Street East) serves up dirty sodas as well, so be sure to grab a drink while you're shopping our soap!

2SLGBTQIA+ Valentine’s Day Market (8 February 2026)
We absolutely love doing markets with Little Jo Berry’s, and so we know this one is going to be rad! Come to the Glebe Community Centre (175 Third Ave) in Ottawa on Sunday, February 8th to check out tons of great queer- & trans-owned small businesses! Open from 12pm-4pm, it’ll be short but sweet and since so many of our super talented maker pals will be there, we know you’re going to find just the right thing for your sweetheart! See you there!
Queer Indie Market (15 May 2026)
We cannot wait to connect with our fellow queers at this event, where we’ll also have our cute Pride soaps! It’ll be at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre (355 Cooper St, corner of O’Connor) in Ottawa on Friday, May 15th. It will feature queer- and trans-owned businesses galore, and we’re so happy to be among them! Open from 5pm-9pm, you’ll want to make sure you come early for this short-and-sweet market so you don’t miss any of the super talented queer makers! Can’t wait to see you there!!
Vegans Who Snack (26 June 2026)
VWS is always a great time in the fresh air, with plenty of vegan goodies and very good doggos!! This iteration will be held on Friday, June 26th from 5pm-9pm, at its usual spot (the Parkdale Market). We're excited to bring our latest creations—as well as the classic faves, of course—while we hang out with our plant-based (and curious!) customers, as well as so many good dogs. (Did we mention the dogs?!) See you there! :)
Hintonburg Night Market - Geek/Comic theme! (9 July 2026)
We'll be back with our pals at the Urban Art Collective (1088 Somerset Street West) for the Hintonburg Night Market this year! It'll be on July 9th, which is their Geek & Comic-themed market, so you know we had to go!! Come by between 5pm and 10pm, so that you can check out our nerdiest offerings of the year! ;) Unfortunately, this market was cancelled due to a thunderstorm warning.
West Side Pride (25 July 2026)
West Side Pride is a tradition now for us, so we're pleased to be back again this year! Taking place on July 25th in Stittsville, make sure you save the date for when we've got more details! It's always an awesome time, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

VWS is always a great time in the fresh air, with plenty of vegan goodies and very good doggos!! This iteration will be held on Friday, July 31st from 5pm-9pm, at its usual spot (the Parkdale Market). We're excited to bring our latest creations—as well as the classic faves, of course—while we hang out with our plant-based (and curious!) customers, as well as so many good dogs. (Did we mention the dogs?!) See you there! :) Unfortunately, we were unable to attend this market due to illness. We'll see you at the September edition!
Pride Night Market (22 August 2026)
The Pride Night Market is held at the Parkdale Market every year. We're so happy to be a part of this market organized in collaboration with Little Jo Berry's, a true legend in the local queer community! Come visit us on August 22nd from 5pm-9pm and check out our Pride soaps before they're all gone!
Tucker House Bridal Fair (13 September 2026)
Are you getting married or having a baby shower in the near future? Have you been curious about ordering a custom soap from us? This is a great chance for you to see our portfolio and learn more about our custom soap offerings! We will be at 1731 Tucker Road in Rockland (Tucker House) on September 13th from 10am-4pm. We'll have our full range of options on display*, such as the various designs, packaging and bar sizes that you can get, and we'd love to chat with you about your vision!
* Please note that we won't have our usual inventory on hand for you to shop for our regular line of soaps. Rather, we will bring our portfolio aimed at custom soap design.

Ottawa Street Markets - Elgin (27 September 2026)
Join us on September 27th from 9am-1pm at Boushey Square (at Elgin & Waverley)! We'll be joining Ottawa Street Markets at their Elgin location, where we'll be bringing all your classic faves and even a new soap or two! It's our first time at this particular market, so make sure to stop by and say hi! (PS: leashed dogs are very welcome!)
Vegans Who Snack (24 October 2026)
VWS is always a great time in the fresh air, with plenty of vegan goodies and very good doggos!! This iteration will be held in the afternoon (rather than the usual evening market) on Saturday, October 24th from 12pm-4pm, at its usual spot (the Parkdale Market). We're excited to bring our autumn soaps—as well as the classic faves, of course—while we hang out with our plant-based (and curious!) customers, as well as so many good dogs. Glebe Craft & Artisan Fair (21-22 November 2026)
Since we couldn't make it last year, we're excited to be coming back to the Glebe Community Centre this holiday season! On Saturday, November 21st, we'll be at the Glebe CC (175 Third Avenue) from 10am-5pm; on Sunday the 22nd, we'll be there from 11am-4pm! As always, we'll make sure to bring all our cutest holiday soaps, gifts and little stocking stuffers to stock you up for the season of giving! See you there!
Canadian Museum of History Christmas Market (26-29 November 2026)
This year, we're happy to announce that we'll be joining the iconic Canadian Museum of History for their Christmas market! The museum is located just across the Ottawa River, at 100 Laurier Street in Hull. The market will take place from November 26-29 (Thursday through Sunday). On the Thursday and Friday, we'll be there from 11am-8pm, and on the Saturday and Sunday, we'll be there from 9am-5pm. We'll have our cutest holiday soaps ready, so make sure you stop by for some great stocking stuffers!
Not Your Typical Holiday Market (5 & 6 December 2026)
We're very excited to announce that we'll be participating this year in the Not Your Typical Holiday Market with the Urban Art Collective! Come by The Warehouse (28 Booth Street) on December 5th & 6th from 2pm-7pm for great holiday shopping and even better vibes! You know we'll have our best holiday soaps and gifts on hand, as well as all of your usual faves!
