Our unscented solid shampoo is free from any added fragrance, essential oils or colours. It’s perfect for travel, zero-waste aspirations and everyday use! If you’re sensitive to fragrances and essential oils, this is a great bar for you. The bar just smells mildly like soap.
If you have combination hair or you aren’t quite sure what type of hair you have, this is a good starter bar. It’s a little moisturizing but also has lots of cleaning power. Can be used daily and typically replaces about 3 standard bottles of liquid shampoo. Using it once per day, a bar typically lasts around 3 months.
Regularly, we’re asked how much lather our solid shampoo bars create. The answer is LOTS! A few swipes of this bar on your wet hair should be enough to lather up thoroughly. To make sure your bar lasts as long as possible, we recommend letting it dry out between uses.
New bigger bar size! By popular demand, we’ve made our shampoo bars larger so that they last much longer. While our standard bars used to be 55g, they’re now 90g, meaning they’ll last nearly twice as long!
This unscented shampoo bar is part of our handmade solid shampoo bar line, which avoids the need for plastic bottles (like with liquid shampoo). These bars are gentle on people and planet. Great for those striving for a zero-waste lifestyle.

These shampoo bars weigh approximately 90g each. Their larger size (about 2.25″ in diameter) means they’ll last even longer in the shower. We also have limited quantities of travel bars, which are about half the size of the full-size bars and come with a handy travel tin! Be sure to hang onto your tin when you’ve finished your travel bar, as you can return or reuse it for a $3 credit towards your next shampoo bar!*
Ingredients: sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, sodium cocoyl isethionate, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium lactate, behentrimonium methosulfate, butylene glycol, hydrolyzed rice, DL-panthenol (pro-vitamin B5).
* These are the same tins we use for our solid lotion bars. You can get a credit towards that product instead, if you prefer. In this case, we’d recommend removing the label or returning your tin for a new one, to avoid confusion.
